Yes, it is a steam tractor. Owner says it will outpull the biggest Case steamer ever made. It's built much like a Stanley Steamer. Runs on pressure of 800 to 1000 psi!!! This guy owns another one and he says there is one in the Ford museum but this one in the picture is the only one still operating or even operable anywhere as far as he knows. He lives in California but owns this property in NH. I have a feeling he has a little bit of money(???) He has a "caretaker" for this place. It looks like a manicured farm. Has a few sheep and a small apple orchard. He seems like a nice feller. I've been ogling this machine as I drove by it for years but today there was actually somebody there so I stopped and talked to him.
