The 60-06 has two trans. levers in front of the operator the one on the left is the range selector (a,b,c,reverse) on the right is the gears (1,2,3,4) The lever on the left side of the seat is the pto speed on my tractor forward is 540 rpm, and back is 1000. Be sure the pto is disengaged and stopped before changing the pto speed, also be sure you are using the correct speed for your implement. Good Luck and have fun.
