My understanding is that the Amish don't want anything that is self-propelled. They will pull an engine-powered baler or corn picker with a team of horses. Mennonites vary, but basically they wear the old garments but use modern farm machinery (although I'm told that they paint the chrome black on cars). The Hutterites live in colonies with dormitory style living. The women dress in old-style dresses; men in black pants and jackets - but the ones in Montana wear bright western shirts and cowboy hats. Hutterites use modern machinery. I was told that kids and youngsters work hard and at 35 they are made "boss" of something, even if it's just a flock of geese, and don't work so hard anymore. [That part doesn't sound too bad to me].
