John - I think you hit the nail on the head. I just started a tractor club in my small area. While none of us are real crazy about public events one of our goals is to get the equipment out in front of the public. Come 9/11/04 we have 12 tractors signed up to be in the local parade. None of them are beauty queens, alls just working rigs. Then in Oct is the local fair (9 days) and we are wanting to set up static displays. It is our hope by doing this we can attract some interest for the future.
