And I will submit to you that there are certain groups, as few as they may be, for which there is no defense. NAMBLA openly recruits young underage and vulnerable boys for their own pleasure. They do it over the internet, and they do it through other means, and the A.C.L.U. is on record as defending that behavior as free speech or free expression. But let a school teacher wear a cross on a neck chain and they will defend the school boards decision to force the teacher to remove the necklace. The A.C.L.U. is not your friend as far as first amendment issues are concerned, as they are not out to defend everyone"s but those whom they themselves pick and choose. If my first amendment rights were being violated, the A.C.L.U. would be the last group I would turn to, and that is a guarantee straight from the Farmall owner"s heart. The A.C.L.U. exists for the express purpose of redefining morality, not defending your rights. When anyone can find a plank from which to attack the Boy Scouts, and Christianity, and our other traditional insitiutions and defend NAMBLA, that alone should be all you need to know about the A.C.L.U.
