I just love to hear about rigs like this. I'm a 340 "enthusiast". I bought 340 gasser about '93 with 6 way blade for 3,500 it needed a main drive clutch and was wearing its work clothes. I have another 340 gasser with straight blade and I bought it with bad bottom and I have 6,500 of 1990's dollars into it. so a good crawler loader diesel with a truly good bottom ready to work should be worth (my estimate) 5,000 to 6,500? What do you think? I also bought a junker parts rig like your describing (only gas) for 500$. Hope this helps. Oh, and by the way make sur4e the planetary steering is working good that, =$$
