need to know a little about tractor ...you have a reverser? ....your transmission pump stops when clutch is down...you either have a two stage clutch or a single with reverser...the 2 stage has to be set up right so that pto will keep running while you push clutch part of way down...the single with reverser has to be set up with reverser stoping tractor just pushing clutch about 2 to 3 inch...but to shift you must go all the way down and usually double clutch..check filter look for foreign material (brakes) also your screen may be plugged some...don't know it this helps but if not post back, there are plenty of people on here that will help...have nice day may god bless
