If the condition is as he says, it's sure worth the money. The D-17 is considered by many AC fans to be the best of the D series, and the IV is the one everyone wants, with the better cooling system, hydraulics, and husky 3 point setup. I wouldn't bid $3,000 just to get the manuals- they're available through AGCO, and I think you could get all three for under $100. I'd take a run at it, if I were you. You should be able to find someone to haul it at a reasonable price, from Louisiana to Kentucky.
