You don't give us any information that would be needed to work with, except "like in an axle reducer". Look for an old Allis Chalmers or an old Farmall. If you want something bigger, look for a New Holland Super 77 haybaler. Or the ring gears from an old road grader. If you want something smaller, look for an old pump jack, or the agitator gears from an old washing machine. Maybe a flywheel ring gear and starter pinion are good enough for you. There are lots of industrial supply dealers in surplus gearboxes on the net. Designing and manufacturing precision gears requires the highest of talents, so everyone tries to avoid them and use belts and roller chains.
