I have a Kodak EasyShare, not sure of model # but it has 10x zoom with a premium lens, 4megapixels, and it takes videos too. It is a well made, easy to use camera; I have had zero problems with it and know of two others with the same camera, also zero problems. You can get a memory card cheap--I have a 256 mb, holds about 300 pics at a time, and it was $14. I bought the Epson PictureMate printer. The cost per print is about 19 cents, and it is real easy to use. The prints look as good or better than 35mm prints, and you just take the memory card out of the camera, stick it in the printer, tell it what pics to print and "wa-la", you have your own photo lab. The printer doesn"t even have to hook to the computer. It was $199, but got a $50 rebate to bring the price down even lower. I figure I can sit at home in my underwear and print those pics I want instead of running to WalMart (saves gas, plus I always end up buying other stuff I can"t resist). Good luck. Sony makes a digital that takes cd-r"s, if you like your floppy disk version that is the next step.
