Before you spout off you ought to at least learn a little bit about what you're talking about. This is a case of government confiscating private property to turn it over to a developer just so the property can generate more tax revenue. it's about eminent domain, a power of government, not business. Sure the developer will make money, but that isn't why it was done. It was pure and simply a tax increase scheme by the town of New London CT. This ruling means that anybody can lose their property if government thinks there is more tax money available from somebody else having it. This is a hideous mis-carriage of justice. No one's home is safe now. We need more judges who will follow the constitution instead of ignoring it. Not a single justice on this court was a nomination of George W. Bush, yet you take this as an opportunity to bash him. What does that say about you? Check out who voted for this and who voted against it.
