The first thing you want to do is go out and price a comparable new trailer, there are some real bargains to be found. The second thing I will add is that there is a very limited market for used trailers, simply because the competition between new trailer mfgrs. keeps the price for a new trailer so low. Why buy used when for just a few hundred dollars more you can have a brand new one? Another thing, if the possibility of a Bobcat or other skidsteer is in the near future, make sure the trailer you buy is capable of hauling it, not just the weight but the adaptability of the loading ramps and such. I own a real nice trailer, but the ramps will not slide in close enough to allow me to load a skidsteer.
