Most of the Atlanta gas comes through some pipeline to a large storage facility in NE Atlanta. They say the pumping station isn't operational due to the hurricane so there's no new gas coming into the storage facility. The facility has enough gas right now to supply the Atlanta area for 10 days. Governor Perdue came out urging everyone not to panic but it's absolutely crazy out there right now with the gas prices up over $5 and cars lined up down the road. People will probably start to go out at night and siphon gas out of other people's vehicles like they did in the early 70s. I think I'll just sit at this computer for awhile and dream about buying some of those old tractors in the photo ads...
