You're a lucky man. It's something you will always have. Music is a wonderful thing. I know what you mean by never being able to master it. I have a neighbor, well my only neighbor, and I promise you, he is the best guitarist you've ever heard in your life - recorded or not. He can play the rock, the country, etc. I've never seen anything like it. But it is never good enough for him. He always hears something wrong. His dad (dead several years now) and I were good friends (although I'm much closer in age to the son). He was uncanny with instruments. I saw him repair a bassoon for a guy once - he had never touched one before (but was talented for repair as well) - he fumbled with it for an hour. After that you could have sworn that he had played it for years.
