Before you start, make sure everything is tight......If it were me, I'd probably remove the scope to make sure no oil is between the rings and the scope......Checking all the screws will save a lot of frustration and usually make things go a lot better.......Here is the best way to zero a scope using the least rounds........ From a sturdy support aim at the center of the target.......fire 1 round........Now aim at the newly made hole.......without moving the gun, adjust the scope till the cross hairs are on the bullseye.......If you do it this way you shouldn't need more than 3 or 4 rounds to get the scope zeroed. One more tip.......don't make small adjustments on the scope......go a few clicks past and then come back to the desired POI......Lots of fellows make small adjustments then "peck" on the scope to set the crosshairs........no need to do this on most scopes if you go past then come back...... Have fun!
