There probably were more IHs made but parts havnt been a problem for the 9600 Ive been going through. The dealer still supports most every part and Ive had no problem finding salvage parts at a yard in MO. Also some local individuals partin a few out around here. And as I work on different models of fords, I find many similarities. The 8000 9000 8600 9600 8700 9700 and the TWs share many parts. Iwouldnt be affraid of either trator but would learn towards the ford just for personal prefference. Matt
