The seals on your lift cylinder are probably worn. They all leak down eventually after the engine or PTO is shut down. Sometimes its minutes or even hours, sometimes its seconds, if its really worn. It was that way with the 9N I grew up with, and it's that way with the MH50 I have now. You need to decide whether to live with it or fix it. In addition to an owner's manual and an I&T overhaul manual, both of which you should get, be aware that Central Tractor and others sell video tapes of how those hydraulics can be overhauled.
