I heard talk on the news that the mayor of Detroit and some developer are planning to build some low income housing in Detroit. One of the building and area is the old Ferguson Tractor Works, and Continetal Engine Co. These buildings take up about 3 square miles. The water tower is still Ferguson Grey and the foundry stack says Continetal. This complex is located on Jefferson Ave. and follows Conner Ave. To Kercheval Ave. Big area that place must have housed alot of workers, seems to me we used to have alot of jobs in Michigan years ago, and now very few. But i will get some pics and put them on the Forum before the wrecking ball gets to them.
