I checked the power steering fluid in my MF65 Gas today and found it low as I have always had a small leak at the pump up front behind the grill. I filled the reservoir on the side of the tractor up to just below the full line which is still a good inch and a half from the top of the canister. I replaced the top and the long bolt and started it up. I noticed fluid pouring out of the canister. I checked and it looked as if it were coming out of the top hole where the bolt goes through. I noticed when I took the bolt out it was rather tight and when I replaced it I tightened it pretty good but I was scared to tighten too much more because I didnt know if the top would give first or I would begin to crush the canister. Is there this much pressure and movement of fluid in this system that would force it out the top even though it is not overfilled. Should I try tightening the bolt down even further. I just felt like I might strip it. Thanks for any help.
