Hi Gang; This is one of the last Ford named tractors to be built in Basildon, England. They were also sold for a short while with New Holland decals before production ceased. This was the "ultimate" 4000 variation. Farmers in Scotland wanted the size but more power and had been fitting turbo's to 4610 3cyl tractors. So Ford sold some 4810's for export, a 4000 chassis with derated 4cyl 5000 engine. They released this version in England as the 5030. Gearbox options of 4F &1R with hi-lo as two levers between your legs as per the original 1000 series gearbox. Or you could have the version shown here with 4F & 1R with hi-lo on two levers on rightside of cab with a shuttle option as well. These gearboxes were scourced from Kubota !!! Cheers David
