The late 2003 and most of the 2004 6.0s were nothing but problems. Then Navistar basically redesigned the engine for a second time, from 2005 on they are as solid as the 7.3s they replaced only with more power. The only thing I question is how the computers and wiring will hold up when the truck is 10 years old, but thats a question for all new vehicles.
