Finally got light here in Michigan about 8:00. Raining again and we don't need any more water. Can't get into some of the woods to cut firewood as it is. It is the shortest day, but the earliest sunset actually is about Dec. 10, the latest sunrise is the first week in Jan. Actual change isn't much, just a few minutes. So if you are a pessimist you can say the sun is still rising later, or if you are an optimist you can say the sun has been setting later every day for two weeks. Spring is coming but it'll be a while. Paul
