You're right... I looked at the glow plugs and the steel wire connected the three of them was loose on the number 2 plug. I am guessing here but when I put heat to the plugs most of the current went right to the resistor on my dash, melting it. That would not have happened had the number 2 glow plug been wired tight. Sow what I need now is a new resistor. It looks like a piece of heavy wire. Are there any specs I need to worry about before replacing it?
