What a find!!!!, yep, most of the time them old broken down buildings have nothing or just a little bit of pure junk in them, but occasionally you will find some treasures in them. I personally know of where there is an old JD 50 in pretty good shape and all there, sitting in a shed at an old abandoned house that hasn't been lived in for atleast a decade now. Along with that JD 50 is a whole pile of old equipment that was used for a vegetable operation and it's all pretty nice. Thats got to be one of the best old tractor finding stories I have heard, although you practically stole it for $300, but then, that tractor wasn't even anything the current owners had and I am amazed it didn't get yanked out and sold before the real estate was sold. Like someone else said, you made an offer and they took it without doing any research as to what its value was.
