Let me say this please. Yes I'm disabled but I'm not dead, I have my pride and I do as much for my self as I can. Yes I can get up on my roof, its almost flat and yes I can sit here and type on the computer for an hour r so. But then I have to get up and do something else. If you where to look on my self above my special chair you would see about 15 bottles of pills. Yes some I don't take often because I hate takeing pills for pain. Some I have to take daily, one for high blood preassure and one for stomach problems.
I have a bad back and my L-5-S-1 dics has been removed. I have 2 bad knees and my right shoulder is shoot.
Most disable people hate it that they can't do what they did once but we also do our best to do as much as we can for our selfs and in my case also for others.
Yes I hunt yes I drive tractors, doctor gets mad when he heres I have, yes I do a lot of other things. But it takes me a week to do what it took me years ago to do in a day.
I'm not asking for a hand out but I,m asking for a hand up so I can keep liveing the way I do.
If I don't keep active I have to go the phycal threrphy and guess waht thats payed for by medicare so it costs the tax payer even more so I keep as active as I can so I don't have to see doctors and do the other stuff.

I have also restored and shown model F's, E 27N's, Field Marshall Series 2, David Brown Cropmasters and the old rey Fergeson T 20. At one time I had seven restored examples which were shown and used in ploughing matches. As most restorers, I have a number of war stories I can relate on a range of topics that may help other like minded and interested people. Perhaps my first p ... [Read Article]
