If it isn't to far from the pit here is something that has worked before. He will have to get water to the hot water heater and then some small hose. Hook the small hose to the hot water line and stick it inside the frozen line. Turn it on and keep sliding it in and it will thaw its way thru. But he will have to let water run to stop it from freezing again. Or stack big bales of hay over the line and it may thaw from the bottom up. Gary
