I need some recomendations on accounting programs for computers. Right now I'm using Quicken 98. It is enough for my needs as far as keeping amount spent in proper categories and keeping track of tax deductible categories for schedule F etc. It is cumbersome to get reports into the format I would like. Sometimes I think it would be almost as easy to just keep everything on a spreadsheet. I don't need all the features of something like Quickbooks or Peachtree. I can upgrade to Quicken 07 or are there other programs that are better? If any of you have experience with quicken or other accounting prgrams or maybe sveral different programs and can give me advice thanks! Phil Or maybe I should just hire a CPA.
