Thanks for the reply. My 234 is always in the garage. I suspected that the linkage may be gummed up so I power washed it today and was able to get it into lo range. Once I have used it on my driving range to move dirt I plan to take it to a dealer for complete serviceng if necessary. I am awaiting a service manual that I ordered over the net and am hoping it will give me better insight into the workings of the transmission and linkage. Rangeowner
