$2000 might be a bit high - but worth it with the right details. I guess the questions would be how good is the paint, is it truly a "new" engine (warranty?) rebuilt (warranty?) or a repower with a modern Kohler of Honda (at least a 20hp to match the 14hp Kohler it was replacing) (warranty?). New tires and emblems? If yes to warranty and all the rest it's probably worth it - (price a new snow blower or a new garden tractor lately?).
If it was a rattle can paint job and the "new" engine has no papers back it up to then its worth $400-$500 in good running shape.
I paid $600 for a Cub 1450 with hydraulic lift (and rear lift arm), 50" mower deck, snow blade and a rear tiller. It was in "OK" shape but needed front tires, seat and a few minor repairs. It had been stored inside all its life but was not "new" looking by any streatch. Buddy of mine sold the exact same set up (actually tried to buy mine for the deal) only with a rebuilt engine and an "automotive quality" paint job on the tractor and all attachments for $2500 (one year written warranty on everything). I thought he was full of it till I looked it over before it was loaded up - looked nicer than it did on the IH show room floor in 1978.
