Calves are coming, That Normande that has had me nervous for the last 3 weeks dropped a nice black calf this am, She was bred to red angus but the calf is solid black with a baseball size block of white on its fore head. Havent checked to se if its a boy of girl. I was also Surprised that my charlios/pizguar/red angus cross dropped a calf this am as well, big solid red bull. She really surprised me, didnt look ready at all, figured she was a couple weeks off. She was my surprisinly friendliest cow lately, today she is the awnryiest, get away from my calf, mother from heck, gonna give her her space for a few days. Kind of exciting for us, 1st 2 born on this place for us.
