: : The Dr. told me I am suffering from Opticfarmall displasia, a rare disorder which is common after a severe fall. It seems that what was once appealing in a coat of green is now more appealing in red. I am seeking treatment and will start my support group therapy tonight. My immune system is still good however. They took a blood sample last week and sure nuff.....it was John Deere green!

: Well, I think the condition is really called Tractor Fever where the patient doesn't care what color the tractor is just as long as he gets one! That may be a clearer and more precise picture of your condition, my deere! Oops! Guess my preference has slipped out!

: If any of you fellas are married, just ask your wives if they know the symptoms.....I'm sure they are experts in this condition. Many men suffer with it.....the severe affection for any tractor needing a home is a good indication. Red or Green is fine as long as it has a good home!

: BTW, I belong to Shameless in Texas.......be careful because the fever is pretty high around here!

Shame on you for assuming that the affliction only affects men. I have a 770 Oliver which my wife purchased at a farm sale. You should have heard her reasoning. "We need a tractor. We were gonna have one eventually. Just be glad I got it for such a good price!" Actually we got an excellent tractor at a very reasonable price, so I guess I shouldn't complain. She did make a great deal.
