After farming full time for 36 years, buying used tractors and typically replacing rubber, sometimes twice on any given tractor- three of which now have over 9000 hours apiece- those prices are not surprising. Only one I got by with under a grand was the 3020. One set I bought and replaced myself, including the fluid. Took a little doing and jerry-rigging, but when money was tight, you do what you need to do. Oil and tire prices are related, like so many other things. Just need to roll with the punches. Today's Featured Article - Gatherin of the Orange - by Rick Nikolich. In July of 1998 I was talking to fellow Allis Chalmers collector Mike Schilling about the annual "Gathering of The Orange" AC show coming up in August of 1999.
