It is highly likely that it does have 10-30 in it. Especially if it has a factory sticker that says 10-30 oil. Not many people change their hydraulic oil, unless they have a major repair. Also 10-30 is very common in lots of hydrostatic and hydraulic systems. I have a Thomas skid steer and it specifies 10-30 oil for the hydraulics. One of the reasons for 10-30 is so you can use a common oil for everything. My machine specifies 10-30 for hyd., chain case and engine, although I run 15-40 in the engine. I have run 10-30 diesel oil in the winter for a little easier starting. I'm not sure what happens if hydraulic oil and motor oil are mixed. I think they're both petroleum based so you wouldn't think it would be that serious. I could be wrong though. Some people use ATF for hydraulic fluid with excellent results. Same viscosity in all temperatures. Dave
