My grandaughter was killed in '05. She was 16 years old. My daughter had her cremated. She was placed in a cremation casket which is considerably more than a cardboard box. She was cremated in that casket. The fire is so hot the only thing left is ashes from the bones. Everything else is vaporized. Her ashes were put in a urn and we took her home. The only problem now is someone broke in and stole Heathers ashes. We know who did it but we can't prove it. Cremation is cheaper than embalming. rw
