If the system has an external voltage regulator, it would seem it is working, as the 14+ volts is a good number for an alternator charging a battery. However it is not getting to the battery to charge it. I suspect a connection issue between the alternator (thick) output wire, and the amp gauge (if it has one), or the battery + terminal if not. The battery should be at 12.5 or 12.6 when charged up, and never drop below 10 volts when cranking. Without being there, I would say take a look at all wire connections and terminals. Get a manual (or at least one like the system mimics) to trouble shoot farther. Post the alternator numbers, or other data to let us get a grip on it. JimN
