It used to be ok to dump chemicals and sewage into waterways and send it to the ocean. I believe the reasoning was the ocean was so big it could take the polution and dilute it to the point where it was harmless. Now I would like to compare the air we all breathe to the ocean and the pollution put into the air by smokers and other types of polution. Now some would say what harm is a cigarette going to do. I perfere to think of it as a company like phillip morris or any other cig co as burning x amount of tractor trailer loads of cigarettes and polluting our air that we breathe.
