Okay, long story short, I bought a 97 f350 cause it was pretty reasonable then sold my tried and true owned since new 95 Nissan PU. 500 miles later the engine in the big ford died. Slowly lost power, started smoking, etc. It got real bad real quick.
I have been looking around for one and have seen a few some with high miles, some with big price tags, etc... None near me in Northern WV. The short block rebuild kit is 1300. Heada are likely going to cost another 500...
Wife is totally torqued, and I am over the proverbial barrel.
Anyone got a source for one of these?

PS If you see a cute little blonde girl with a sour look on her face, please don't mention the word "Diesel". She hates me enough already.
