We've placed over 100 Internet orders last year and here are the rules we follow... 1) We NEVER do business with anybody using a PO Box. 2) We ALWAYS make sure we have their street address and phone number. 3) BEFORE we buy, we send them an email asking a question about the product even if we already know the answer. If they don't answer it, and you will be amazed at how many don't, you can be sure they won't answer your email AFTER the sale either. 4) We print a copy of our order at the time we place it. Some companies will send a follow-up email order confirmation; not all do. Keep copies of everything. You might need them. 5) We ALWAYS pay by CREDIT card (NOT debit card or any other way). If the product is defective, doesn't fit, or never arrives, you can use your bank's chargeback procedure to get all your money back. The procedure is on the back of your credit card "Agreement". Merchants hate chargebacks. Not only does VISA/MC refuse to pay them, if the merchant continues to get a number of complaints resulting in chargebacks, VISA/MC will pull their merchant agreement. This means they can no longer accept VISA/MC, essentially putting them out of business. By following these rules, we haven't lost a dime yet. Good luck!
