Unbelievable. The last administration just spent, spent, spent, and not a peep from you guys. Now the Dems are "bankrupting America".
The problem with Trucker40 is that he makes his points inelegantly. But he has points.
Another thing to point out is that you guys that say you "don't need the government's help" are ignorant of just how much the government has already helped you.
For instance:
I suppose you don't need a national military to keep you safe.
I suppose you don't need, or have ever taken money from the Social Security system. Or you won't, when you retire.
If you are ex-military, you probably don't partake of the VA system. Which, by the way, is a government sponsored health care plan.
And who needs laws? Or schools? Or road maintenance? State or federal, it's a government system that makes these things happen.
People like to beat on Medicare. Who needs it? Let's just die without making it to retirement like they did in the good old days.
And when you think about it, were the good old days ever really that good? But that's another argument for a different day...
