Someone posted about a red light camera the other day.
I got a letter in the mail today with a picture of my wife, the car, and the license plate and a printout of the date, time, location, and sppedlimit of the stretch she was speeding in. On the printout was the data on the radar/camera and the last calibration date and another sheet with several possible ways (including paypal) to pay the 15 buck fine.
Get the same thing if you run a camera controlled redlight. Camera is good enough to tell if you are wearing a seatbelt also (at least if it's over your shoulder) and works just as good at night.
Gives you 3 choices cut and dry:
1) don't speed or run a red light
2) pay the fee right away while it's at it's lowest
3) fight, lose,and pay more/rack up points
Of course, if it was an honest mistake or extenuating circumstances, you can usually clear it up with a call to the local police station.
Instead of paying bubba to set behind a billboard and then take a chance on some idiot running him over or shooting him in a traffic stop, just set up a camera and let bubba get the coons outa your house.

But, I want to talk about my tractor! We didn't even own a lawnmower, and all of a sudden we had enough grass to feed all the starving children of the bovine world. Naturally, I talked
