Oh, I can top "feeling stupid" and go straight to the head of the class on being stupid. Years back had a weed eater that ran out of string countless times and refilled countless times. Was always a pain in the rear to start though, and this time was exceptionally hard starting, but got it going after plenty of sweat. Then it happened. It ran out of string. OK, I reloaded it, winding her up and set out to use it. Needed to bump out more string, so bumped, bumped, bumped and no string. OK, I flipped it and pulled some out because must've been too tight when I reloaded. A while later, needed more string, so bumped, bumped, bumped and same thing all over again. I did that a few times until I lost my cool and threw it like a javelin through the air while it was still running. Naturally the motor broke off and so did the kill switch, so there sat the running motor spinning like a top in the grass, and it was running good too, best it ever had. I grabbed it and pulled the plug wire and killed it. I wasn't very happy, things weren't going so great. I walked over and sat on the porch right where I sat when I restrung it. Guess what was right next to me when I sat down? The bump, bump, bump spring that I forgot to put back into it when I restrung it.
So you feel stupid? Well, I'm at the back of the class wearing that dunce hat. I own the dunce hat, but will rent it out on occasion.

Like most features of our life, few things are all good or all bad, and most such judgments depend on our own perspective or viewpoint. In our particular hobby, we enjoy the nostalgic return to the days of our youth as we recreate many of the scenes that took place on the family farm that served as the stage for the first few acts of the play that is our live
