I've been using my D19 gasser around the place for small chores quite a bit since the hydraulics are out on my other, smaller tractor. Looks like rain for the first time in a month here today. I've got some things I need to do before it rains, so I had it running, warming up. Went into the house to get something, came out and it was dead. Out of gas, AGAIN! The fuel gauge doesn't work, so I usually just pay attention to how much I've been using it. I guess I used it more than I thought yesterday. And we're fresh out of gasoline! Trip to town.
You folks warned me about how thirsty this beast is, but I bought it anyway! I've got a non-running Ford 5000 diesel that looks like it might just get worked on this winter....
