On my pos army brat M-1008.. I'm losing fuel prime overnight..Starts cold then quits, crank , crank , crank , finally lights, runs good..I checked the transfer pump , have good vacuum, thought the check valves might be leaking enough to allow fuel to run back to tank overnight..Changed the transfer pump..In the process , I lost what religion I had and invented some new cuss words..What were they thinking on the position of that pump ?? Anyhow......Got any ideas ?? Someone said possible leak at filter housing, With that, It still has to drain back thru the transfer pump check valves to do that...I'm about ready to install an electric pump back by the tank and install a push button to prime it before starting...Whatcha think ??
