I have a Ford 3930 which is just a touch smaller, 45hp PTO, it is also 4wd, which does make a difference.
I have a 6ft brush hog, could use a 7ft on normal weeds. In heavy brush, it'll work the tractor. Guess it depends on what you are mowning.
Heres what else I use that is sized perfect. 7 foot flail mower 12 foot batwing finish mower 9 foot C-tine cultivator 8 foot danish tine with 4inch shovels (works the tractor depending on soil) 6 foot tiller 1 leg ripper 20-24inch (subsoiler) 6 foot box blade (plenty if you are ripping into sod) 2-14 plow, could use a 3 bottom, but it was free. 6 foot tandem disc (too small) 13 foot tandem disc (too big, sold it)
