That is my cousins point, Texas was its own country once, it is the only state that joined the union in a treaty and the only state flag that does not fly lower that the US flag. Looking at it from a balance of payments prespective, the money a state sends to Washington verse the money, California could also do well as its own country, it is the 6th largest economey in the world. My cousin was just crakcking a joke about a ball game.
