Don't know that I'm exactly "tired" of it, but it does make you wonder how much of your per-bag dollar is buying "prizes"... My two main seed guys do the best they can for the little guy on working with price breaks and working things in, and at only a little over 200 acres total crop, I appreciate what they do for me. Do I wish seed was cheaper?? I don't know anyone that doesn't. I got a jacket and a couple hats last week for a 40 acre soybean order, I probably bought both, but if they stop giving it away, the prices won't decrease, so may as well take what you can get. I put a lot of stock in my representatives. They could be giving away great stuff for low order amounts, but if I don't like the seed or the salespeople, I'm not buying it, no matter the "reward". I never put all my eggs in one seed company's basket anyway.
