My 1945 John Deere B that I was planing on using for moving snow has a little problem. The rear end has frozen up and that makes it kind of hard to use. I tried the other day when the weather was nice out to remove the drain plug at the bottom of the transmission case to see if I could get some of the water to drain out. I tried and tried to get that plug to budge put it wont move at all. I bet that it hasn't been touched in 20 years! What are some tricks that you have used to get those drain plugs out? I would really like to use that tractor this winter as it has a blade on the front of it, and the tractor runs great and starts everytime with little effort. Thanks for the help!
