I started working a month ago for a large home improvement chain in a distribution center, I enjoyed the work and the people I worked with. Had just recieved a 30 day review and was told the company was happy with my preformance ect. The company is restructuring and has been unstable in my work enviornment, taking work away from the shift I was hired to work in order to improve effiencey, in theory. Two days ago I recieved a call for an interview with another company where I had applied at the same time. I took the job for added pay and more stability. Today I went in to the HR office and gave notice and was tood I could continue working, when leaving the office I was asked in an informal conversation where I was going to work, told the man and was promptly forced to resign. Makes it so that a guy doesn't enjoy being honest. The attitude I encountered reflects the general attitude of management in this facility (say one thing and do another) that I worked under, guess this explians the high turn over rate this company can not understand.
