  • MF 65 starving for fuel? - i have a early 60s MF 65 Perkins diesel 4 cylinder. when I got it about a year go, the previous owner had just had the FIP rebuilt. The tractor ran fine for the first few times I used it, then starting "hunting" I also noticed that it would run for half an hour then die and would not restart until several hours had passed, usually the next day.   • MF 65 Power Loss No Start - Tractor lost power while grading, now won't start. Cold so haven't done a complete diagnostic yet. But with my MF 50 last summer, my coil just up and failed, luckily I had an old one (prob changed before needed). Is there an easy way to test a bad coil? Are the coils on this site better than others? I suspect I should change condenser too, since that is the other mini black box to figure out.

  • MF 65 Fuel Filter Housing - the 'can' that forms the housing on the first fuel filter is damaged and leaking. I cant find a replacement part as it seems most have the kind with the glass bowl at the bottom. That style has a bolt on top but mine has the bolt come up through from the bottom to hold the housing. Does anyone know how to find the replacement part or should I replace the mount as well?
