Welcome to the forums.

With your description thus far it will be hard for anyone to be sure they are giving you the right information, no one here can see it.

You have a 5040 and you are looking for loader seals. One needs to know what loader your 5040 has on it, brand and model. Post pictures of it if you don't know someone may recognize it. Then do you need these for the lift cylinders, the bucket cylinders, or both?

Here is a link to the online AGCO parts catalog site for the farm loaders you might have a 400 loader. Info for the 400 on a 5040 starts on page 148 per the index. There are notes on the lift and bucket cylinder pages that indicate serial number breaks that may make a difference as to which seal kits you will need.

Are you 100% sure that you don't just turn those caps tighter to compress the packing to stop the leak? It's
critical that we know what loader you have, not just what tractor it's on.
